We recognise that having cancer and being treated for it can be a very difficult experience, and that care is more than just physical. We are able to offer psychological support from your key worker and from trained counsellors, and a range of complimentary therapies available to patients receiving treatment as in-patients and outpatients, including aromatherapy massage, reflexology, relaxation and healing. We can also refer patients to the Complimentary Cancer Care Programme at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine.
Patients also have access to the Macmillan Support and Information Service at the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre , which provides a wide range of resources including welfare and benefits advice, complementary therapies, practical support and a programme of group activities.
