The new University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre opens on Monday 2nd April 2012. This brand new, purpose-built facility will redefine cancer care by putting the needs of patients at the centre of care. Highly specialist staff will provide care ensuring that patients have immediate access to the very best treatment, support and advice for their particular type of cancer.

Sarcoma outpatient appointments will take place on the first floor of the Cancer Centre, chemotherapy daycare will take place on the second floor and diagnostic facilities – blood tests, scans etc – will take place on the lower ground floor.  Patients are also very welcome to use the Macmillan Support and Information Service on a drop in basis or via a booked appointment.  Patients can also use the roof garden.  Teenagers and young adults will be seen and treated on the third floor.

PLEASE NOTE: Not all services are moving to the Cancer Centre on the day that it opens (Monday 2 April) – patients will receive a letter informing them when their appointments are moving to the Cancer Centre and should go to the location they normally go to until they receive a letter informing them of the new arrangements.
